What's For Dinner??

"What's for Dinner?" is my effort to keep myself on track with meal planning and eating dinner at home, rather than eating out. Eating at home is healthier for my family and definitely saves us money. Join me in my effort to be accountable for making meals at home by leaving a comment with your daily meal plan. Need an idea? Snag one from the comments or my menu.

Today's Menu:
Chef Salads for the Adults
Turkey Subs for the Kids
Fresh Pears

I would love to hear what you're having for dinner in the comments below!

I made the spaghetti recipe on the inside of the Philadelphia Cream Cheese box last night and the recipe for Chicken Enchiladas on the back of the Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup the night before! The enchiladas were a hit with the adults but the spaghetti had my picky littlest one eating seconds!

I found a roast in the bottom of the chest freezer, so have that in the crockpot with carrots, mushrooms, onions and potatoes.

We had 1 1/2 lbs of hamburger I had NO idea what to do with... and some wonton wrappers... I browned the hamburger with onions and seasoned with salt & pepper... then divided it into 4 bowls... one was mixed with some bbq sauce - another with teriyaki sauce... one with sweet & sour - and one with nothing - I put a spoonful on each wonton wrapper - closed them up - sealed them with an egg wash, and baked for 20-25 min @ 350-375 (until brown and heated through). I served with more of the sauces for dipping (ketchup for the plain ones) - and my 5 kids LOVED LOVED LOVED them!!
