JCP will track your spending on your cards and for every dollar you spend you'll earn 1 point. Spend as little as $125 and get a $10 reward. If you've never received one of these, they are coupons worth $10 when you spend $10. I can't recall spending $125 in a single month at JCP and I get these rewards quite frequently. You don't have to have a JCP card but it does say you'll get extra rewards for registering one.

Right now you can earn double points next month by making one small purchase of at least $1. So, for every $1 you spend next month you'll get two points.
