Giant Eagle: Hot Deal on Ronzoni Pasta

If you live near Giant Eagle you might want to take advantage of their upcoming sale on Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta. Ronzoni is on sale this week (4/16-4/22) for $1.50 each and when you buy $10 worth you get a catalina for $2 off your next order. But wait, it gets better--the $10 used to trigger the $2 catalina reportedly goes by the shelf price of $2.29, not the sale price of $1.50. There are also $1/1 Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta coupons floating around -- I checked and saw plenty on Ebay! So here's how it works out:

Buy 5 Smart Taste Pastas for $7.50 (shelf price $11.45)
Use 5 $1/1 coupons -$5
Pay $2.50 OOP and get a $2 catalina off your next order

Roll that $2 catalina into 5 more pastas, and so on! Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta is the only pasta I "buy". It is healthier than regular pasta but tastes the same in my opinion. The cheapest I've been able to find this after a coupon is $.09 but since my 40 box score, that store has increased it's shelf price by $.40. So that Giant Eagle deal is a great one!
