I recently was given the opportunity to try out the new and improved Swiffer Wet Jet. Thanks to My Blog Spark and Swiffer, I was provided a new Swiffer Wet Jet with sturdier construction, dual spraying nozzles and a larger scrubbing pad. I was also given a bottle of cleaner and a package of mop pads along with some other goodies!
I did not have high hopes for the Swiffer Wet Jet! I had one of the earlier models and had several complaints which seem to mostly have been addressed with this new model! Here are the changes I really like:
- Larger bottle of cleaner: It seems like they've doubled the size and I love that!
- Sturdier Construction: We seem to be hard on things so we also love this!
- Dual Nozzles for even spraying
- Pads with nooks and crannys to scrub and trap dirt
Besides the changes they've made, I would say this new Wet Jet more than exceeded my expectations! I was given a mission to mop my floor which appeared clean and was shocked at the dirt that the Swiffer Wet Jet picked up! The pads are made specially to grab the dirt and trap it inside. Sticky spots were not a challenge, as the scrubbing pad lifts them easily.
Have you been looking for something that makes cleaning easy and fun? This is it! Now that I have tried this improved model, I would not hesitate to tell my friends to get one! ( I do have some handy tips for making this just a little less expensive to own and use --stay tuned.)

Currently washing with an old mop and homemade solution!

My mop finally died and I have failed to purchase a new one so I slide around the floor with towels on my hands and knees as though I was a mop. It actually works quite well.
Love your posts, Thank you so much for all the money you have saved my family!
I use a swiffer in the kitchen and hands and knees and a hand towel on the bathroon

I would love to try this new Swiffer, because I currently mop with an older version of the same thing.
I am scrubbing on hands and knees too (I actually have the older swiffer hanging in our broom closet, but it doesn't work very good, so I rarely use it.)

I own a mop, but usually end up with a towel on my hands and knees. I subscribe, I'm grabbing your button and I'm writing a blog posts over at www.supersouthernsavings.blogspot.com
I subscribe to your blog and receive your emails via Google Reader. Thanks!
I have a small kitchen and have been disappointed by other mops, so I've been cleaning it on my hand and knees (and not frequently, I might add). So, I'd be over the moon with joy if I won this Siwffer! amberpena @ gmail . com
I currently clean my floors with the dry swiffer and the wet jet, but I definitely don't have the new Wet Jet. A bigger bottle of cleaning solution sounds nice. I just found a bunch of the cleaning solution on clearance at Target and I stocked up. I guess their getting rid of the old size to make room for the new. There are some good coupons in the new homemade simple coupon book, so maybe I'll have to get a new one if I don't win.
Will the older smaller bottles of solution still work in the new Wet Jet??????
I wash my floors on my hands and knees. I also had problems with the old swiffer, so just went back to the old way.

I'm currently scrubbing my floors on my hands and knees with a worn out rag and Mr. Clean.... Why? Because it's how my mom did it - and apparently I'm a glutton for punishment too! (lol) :-)
If there IS truly a better way - I'm ALL up for trying it!
I'm 7 months pregnant with baby #5 - and would LOVE it to find something easier!!!!!
I am constantly washing my floors, I have 3 dogs and 3 children. The old sponge mop is so old it leaves pieces of the sponge on the floor. It makes more work for me. I would love to try the new swiffer.
I am currently washing floors the old fashioned way...with white vinegar and elbow grease! I would love a new swiffer!

I need this new mop. I have one of the older ones and I think I have the same problems you did. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia and it's difficult to get down on my hands and knees to wash the floors. I have 3 kids (wonderful as they are) who track in all of the dirt from outside and I could spend all day washing my floors (if I wanted to!). I think this newer mop would pick the dirt up easier and faster and help me do a more thorough job, which would make it easier for my body.

I use the original Swiffer in the kitchen, but would love to try the new and improved one.
I thought you might laugh at me, but the only way I can really make sure that my floors are clean is a really old-fashioned way - on my hands and knees with a cloth and scrubber to get each and every spot. However, I see from comments that a lot of other women use the same method.
It's tougher to be on my hands and knees right now when I am pregnant with second baby, but traditional mops just don't work for me. I would really love to try something that would work and save my knees and back from hurting. But it's so hard to be on very tight budget and risk spending money for the system that might or might not work
Thank you for awesome giveaways!

I am a subscriber. I hate to admit it buy I haven't cleaned my laminate kitchen floor since I moved in Feb 2006!!! It is filthy. I can't figure out how to clean it. I cannot get on my hands and knees because I can't get up and have really bad knees. I have from time to time cleaned certain spots when I just couldn't stand it (black marks) with a Mr Clean eraser dipped in water and then wiped it up with paper towels. I could use the new Swiffer Wet Jet. ruthsmither(at)juno(dot)com.

I mop with the Clorox ready mop but I hate it. It leaks solution all the time and the mop covers never stay on. I would love to try something new.

I have a swiffer that I put a wet pad on... I also have the old swiffer wet mop. I have found it to be about the most awkward thing ever! Hope they have changed alot about the new one. I would love to try the new mop on my bathroom floor. I also subscribe to your blog. dbrown293@verizon.net
I currently use a broken swiffer to do the floors. In less than two years, I've managed to break 2 of them so sturdier construction is what I need.
I am in need of a good new mop! Mine hardly cleans the floor most of the time I end up on my hands and knees cleaning.
