Free 3-Month Amazon Prime Trial --Still Available

Amazon is still offering a 3-month trial of Prime with an eligible textbook purchase.  Normally Amazon Prime will cost you $79 per year.

What is Amazon Prime?
Amazon Prime is a fabulous feature that will allow you to make purchases at Amazon.com with out any minimum on eligible products for free shipping.  When you choose items to purchase, look for items that are eligible for Prime and shipping is FREE with no minimum purchase requirements.  Plus, you'll be upgraded to two day shipping!

If you redeem Swagbucks for Amazon gift cards, this feature is a MUST!  Amazon frequently has great clearance deals and you'll want to be able to purchase those without any shipping or minimum purchase requirements.

If you recently had a Prime Membership, you may not be offered this 3-Months FREE deal.  I got around this by creating an account for my husband.

Join Prime FREE!
  • Place an eligible textbook in your cart (here are a few inexpensive items that qualify!)
Romeo and Juliet (Dover Thrift Editions) $1.00

Civil Disobedience and Other Essays (Dover Thrift Editions) $1.50
  • Go to checkout and look for your offer to join Prime
  • Accept the offer and continue the checkout process
  • Make your purchase
  • Go to the Amazon Prime page and change your settings to "Don't Auto Upgrade" so that you will not be charged $79 to continue with Amazon Prime.

You don't have to actually make the purchase to get the trial offer. It just shows up on the checkout screen, once you have signed up, if you don't want the book, just close out amazon.

Thank you soo much for this post! Amazon has changed where it says which books offer the free trial and they are not easy to find! I received an e-mail from them a few days ago advertising this, but I waited for you to post which books were part of it again. Thanks sooo much for your blog!

You do NOT have to make the purchase. Just sign up for free trial, delete item from cart and Voila!
