Wait, does that mean you can scan your card again immediately after you've just scanned it?
Also, I got a CRT for $5 off any 2 Almay Color Cosmetics. :)
Neither CVS where I shop will let me scan more than once. Do you need to wait a while between scans? If I try to do it twice in one visit, it never works...Is there a secret?
Also learned something GREAT this morning. Got the $1 off paper product and $1 off skin care item Q's. My products were MORE than $1 each ($1.19 and $1.49), but both of them rang up FREE with the Q's!! I was all ready to pay the bit I thought I owed, but the clerk said sometimes they ring up free. YAY!!
Yes, I read about it the other day and tried it yesterday. You have to wait for the machine to filter thru it's cycle. I scanned my card again after the noises stopped and nothing happened. Just as I walked away, I heard it start to print again. I went back and got my other 2 coupons that printed. Just keep scanning until the screen say you have to come back tomorrow for more coupons.
On a side note, I've gotten free travel size "q-tips" and the small hand sanitizer for free using the $1 of skin care coupon.
You can scan until the machine tells you to come back tomorrow! You just have to wait a bit - maybe 45 seconds--for the machine to load up. For some reason it is sluggish! But it will keep giving you the coupons!
I love scanning my hubby's card because he doesn't use it often. He gets the $5 off $15s!
I got a coupon for a FREE Absolute Divine Chocolate Bar!!
I got a free chocolate bar and $2 ECBS for my winter spending. These are my first few months using CVS, so I was super excited to get the free ECBS! :)
If you have 2 coupons for $1 off a CVS paper product, buy 2 rolls this week, and that leaves $1 to buy anything else in the store you want. I bought two 49 cent candy bars, on sale this week, and paid nothing for 2 sticks of cocoa butter, 2 toilet tissues, and 2 candy bars. Maybe look at the discounted Easter candy too as another option.
I know a way to save more on toilet paper than any coupon or special. This covers all the bases = saves you money, helps the environment, helps your health, makes you feel better, it's so easy to do and it costs less than $50.00; Save money and the Earth and be clean at the same time! Add Bathroom Bidet Sprayers to all your bathrooms. I think Dr. Oz on Oprah said it best: "if you had pee or poop on your hand, you wouldn't wipe it off with paper, would you? You'd wash it off” Available at www.bathroomsprayers.com with these you won't even need toilet paper any more, just a towel to dry off! Don’t worry, you can still leave some out for guests and can even make it the soft stuff without feeling guilty. It's cheap and can be installed without a plumber; and runs off the same water line to your toilet. You'll probably pay for it in a few months of toilet paper savings. As for water use a drought is always a concern and must be dealt with prudently but remember the water use of industrial users far exceeds the water use of household users and in the case of toilet paper manufacture it is huge. The pollution and significant power use from that manufacturing process also contributes to global warming so switching to a hand bidet sprayer and lowering your toilet paper use is very green in multiple ways.
