Being thrifty has its benefits for the earth! Saving money and recycling seem to go hand in hand. You can do your part as a couponer to spend less and recycle your printer ink! Most office superstores have ink recycling programs.
I particularly enjoy the program that Staples offers. They will reward you for turning in your empty cartridges to the tune of $3 each (limit 10 per month). I then take those rewards and "roll" them into purchases that produce more rewards, which results in great bargains and freebies month after month. It works for me!
I also enjoy purchasing my ink at greatly reduced prices and doing my part to buy recycled cartridges. Ink Orbit offers ink at up to 85% off and uses recycled cartridges! A few months ago I compared prices for my ink:
