What's For Dinner?? & Gooseberry Patch Giveaway!!

Slow-Cookers, Casseroles & Skillets: Simmered, stirred or sizzling?over 200 easy dinner recipes for family & friends to share.

I recently purchased the Gooseberry Patch Slow-Cookers, Casseroles & Skillets: "Simmered, stirred or sizzling? over 200 easy dinner recipes for family & friends to share" cookbook!  Gooseberry Patch cookbooks are proven winners at our house.  Many of our favorite dishes have come from these books!  I've already posted a few of my dinner ideas from the cookbook and will be posting more very soon.

I am most impressed with the easy, yet delicious sounding recipes that don't keep you glued to the kitchen counter for hours.  If you know me, I am all for quick and easy!  If you are a busy person, this cookbook may help you with ideas and free up some of your time to do "other" things.

I will be giving this cookbook away to one lucky reader who leaves a comment (with email) and shares their dinner menu--or lack of dinner menu, in the comments.  The winner will be chosen on Friday, February 18.  You can gain one entry per day until then by commenting in each "What's for Dinner?" post!

Thursday's Menu:
Turkey Meatballs & Pasta
Salad
Rolls

What's on your menu?

I don't know if we are going to go out or stay in tonight. I'm going shopping with a girlfriend at 3 so it won't leave much time to cook...but I do have gift certificates from Xmas and mypoints so it's not like we'll break the bank.

Oh! And my mom said shamrock shakes are out at the local mcdonalds. Might have to hit there!

I need some inspiration. Grilled salmon, ready-rice, and can of peas (DH only likes canned peas - froz are better I think). Fish sticks for the kids.

Love it!!! Thanks. However, we are all sick here. I'm thinking aside from warming up some instant noodle soup & maybe a fruit smoothie, that's about all I'm cooking. My hope is that when hubs get's home he will take pity on us & take charge of the kitchen (including the mess I've left!)s_laubach @ yahoo.com

lack of! I have 2 daughters and we have started alternating days when they help with dinner. I am running out of ideas for things they like and the rest of us will eat. I need easy meals that they can help with and we will all enjoy. I love goose berry patch books. I have a cookie one that we enjoy. This would be a great cook book that we could use. I am tired of chicken, chicken nuggets, spaghetti, hotdogs & mac n cheese, and then the occassional taco or taco pizza!!

I haven't heard of the cookbook before, but it sounds great. Tonight I am having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich since my husband won't be home for dinner. I'm not cooking just for me tonight.

Tonight we're having chicken quesadillas. They're super easy to prepare on the George Forman grill.

I would love to win this cook book. We try to prepare a couple dishes every weekend, so we have enough leftovers to get us through the week. New easy recipes are always appreciated.
