I recently purchased the Gooseberry Patch Slow-Cookers, Casseroles & Skillets.
I will be giving this cookbook away to one lucky reader who leaves a comment (with email) and shares their dinner menu--or lack of dinner menu, in the comments. The winner will be chosen on Friday, February 18. You can gain one entry per day until then by commenting in each "What's for Dinner?" post!
I'm feeling good about dinner tonight because I planned ahead! I cooked the macaroni last night and my mom will be helping get everything prepared today.
Monday's Menu:
Bone-In Ham
(I found this huge ham at Aldi for under $1 per pound last week! There will be leftovers!)
Crock Pot Mac & Cheese (Recipe from Gooseberry Patch Slow Cookers, Casseroles & Skillets)
Broccoli
What's on your menu?

Today is my dad's b-day, so we're having a family get together, and I'm just bringing the cake! Pioneer Woman's chocolate sheet cake if anyone needs a killer cake recipe.
We are hoping to grill today (its supposed to get around 40 degrees). Yippee!!! (pathetic to be so happy for 40 degree, eh! But, I'll take it!) Hamburgers, baked beans, roasted potatoes & fruit salad.

Today being the V-Day, we are going to White Castle to have a romantic date on a shoestring budget. They do the restaurant up nice with tablecloths and candles for the occasion. : )

Funny, we are having Ham off the bone too. I bought a whole one at Christmas. I had the butcher cut it in half and put in my deep freezer. Now my mom is at my house today slowww cooking it for us. YUMMY...not sure what else she is making...glazed carrots I think and Mashed tators.
We don't have plans tonight as my family of 4 are going all different directions. I need a quick, plan ahead meal so everyone can eat when they have time.

I'm having sauteed escarole and a piece of salmon - not sure how I'll cook the salmon yet - probably simply baked with Asian flavors.
