What's for Dinner??

Slow-Cookers, Casseroles & Skillets: Simmered, stirred or sizzling?over 200 easy dinner recipes for family & friends to share.

I'm not sure what today has in store for us.  One by one, my three children have picked up a nasty virus on top of the strep and ear infections they already had.  I spent yesterday running to get them at school, picking up meds and talking to the doctor.  Today may be miserable.

Our original plan was to have one of my husband's favorites, but we'll se how that goes!  It may end up being chicken noodle soup from a can!

We're doing ham and beans today! I love throwing everything in the Crock Pot in the morning and then just whipping up cornbread once I make it home! Plus, we have plenty of leftovers for two more meals! My kind of dinner :)

We are having Chicken Picata with one of those Marconi Grill kits and salad. I recently got a great deal on frozen chicken breasts so we are trying to use those up! I would love the Gooseberry Cookbook. They have great recipes :)

We are having a "leftover buffet". I just can't justify making something new when we have so many leftovers.

Tonight I have cooked a chicken casserole, green beans, corn, french bread and strawberry cake for my friends. Two of whom have already canceled. Nice, huh?

I'm having difficulty coming up with something. I'm gonna have to dig through the freezer or look around for inspiration.

Tonight was real mashed potatoes versus instant and chopped steaks with green beans on the side. Yum!
