The Taste Test

I was skeptical, so Family Dollar sent me a huge box containing their brand and the leading brand to taste for ourselves!  We compared:

Family Gourmet Syrup vs. Aunt Jemima Syrup -- The kids actually chose the Family Gourmet brand over the leading brand.

Family Gourmet Berry Bunch O Crunch Cereal vs. Captain Crunch -- Everyone thought the leading brand was fruitier, but nobody turned down the Family Gourmet brand!

Family Gourmet Apple Juice vs. Mott's Apple Juice -- There was a distinct difference, but half of us liked the taste of Family Gourmet better!

Family Gourmet Coffee vs. Maxwell House Coffee -- My mom did this taste test for us.  She could not tell the difference, which was interesting because she is a name brand buyer.

Family Gourmet Creamer vs. Coffee-mate Creamer -- We're not powdered creamer people, but we did find the taste difference so slight, we'd buy the Family Gourmet brand for the savings.

Family Gourmet Pancake Mix vs. Aunt Jemima -- Everyone liked the Family Gourmet brand just as well as Aunt Jemima!
