Counterfeit Coupon *UPDATE*

*UPDATE* It now appears that if you printed the coupon from the bricks link, those coupons ARE/WERE legit.  The counterfeit coupons were photocopied versions of someone's bricks printable.  Those copied coupons were apparently used hundreds of times by multiple people at various retailers.

Be advised!  NEVER share your internet printables.  Someone else could copy your coupons and use them.  All bricks printables can be linked back to the source.

The links I posted were completely legit!  Sorry for the confusion.

Be advised, the recent $2/2 Listerine, Stayfree, Carefree, Zyrtec, Aveeno, Band-aid or Neosporin printable coupon is counterfeit.  If you have printed this coupon, please destroy it.  There is a $2,500 reward for information leading to the person who created it.

I sincerely appologize for posting this coupon!  It appeared to be a bricks link, which normally means these are legit.

While most printable coupons are perfectly legitimate, you should always verfy at CentsOff.com and VeriFi.  Be wary of any insert coupons that appear to be photocopied or printable coupons that have the same verification code at the top right.

I used it too, and NO I will not check every printable coupon-who has the time to do that?
and honestly $2500 is laughable.......if they are seriously they better double if not triple that amount!

I just input the barcode at ver-fi.com and it showed the Bricks IP is legit. I read on another website that copies were made, so the ones from your link should be fine?

Geez.

I looked everywhere for that coupon and could not find it on my blog.

Thanks Nicole!

The coupon itself as legitimate, there was apparently just one, very dishonest person who made photocopies of it and sold the online.

it was a bricks link...the coupons we printed from our home computer using that link are fine. the ones that are not okay, is this one that was altered and photocopied over and over.

CIC is starting to catch those repeat copied ip's...

I used it as well.. but now this has me thinking to never give my printable to anyone because they may make photocopies.. great.. I ALWAYS LEAVE SO MANY OF THESE AT MY LIBRARY FOR OTHERS.. HOPEFULLY THEY ARE HONEST..

Okay--at CVS today the Listerine coupon ADDED $2 to my bill so the cashier had to fix it! Also, check the fine print--it has a typo "balue" instead of "value"!?? I not using any more of these; I noticed a toll free number on the coupon; I will try calling it tomorrow!
