If you've recently started couponing, you might be wondering what the best way to organize and carry your coupons may be.  There are lots of ways to organize your coupons.  How you organize them depends on your stores, the way you shop and personal preference.

I have used a variety of methods over the years.  They've all worked for me at some point.  I am currently using the Whole Insert Method, The Coupon Clutch and envelopes.

1. Whole Insert Method:  Some people keep their inserts whole and date them, clipping only the coupons they'll use.  This requires a filing system at home and you will still need one of the below methods for carrying your coupons to the store.  *I use this*
2. The Envelope System:  A simple paper envelope with the store name and your shopping list, with any coupons inside that you plan to use.  With this system, you probably clip just the coupons you think or know you will use.  Pros:  Easy to carry     Cons:  You don't have all the coupons you might need.

3. The Coupon Box:  You clip most of your coupons and organize them according to store aisles or coupon types.  Pros:  You have all of your coupons with you, fits nicely in cart.  Cons:  Bulky, takes time to organize, coupons hard to see.

4. The Coupon Binder:  You clip most of your coupons and slip them into plastic sleeves, organized by coupon type.  Pros:  All the coupons are visible, finding coupons is less tedious.  Fits in the front of the shopping cart and holds thousands of clipped coupons.  Cons:  Can be bulky, takes time to organize & clip. 

The Coupon Clutch
