Couponing for Community: Help Raise 10,000 Items

Couponing for Community has begun.  Join the effort to use coupons to raise over 10,000 items collected by couponers and donated to charity!  This week, May 8-14, bag up some items from your stockpile and donate to your local foodbank, give to the needy or donate to Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday, May 14.

The goal is for you to count up your items and report them to Couponing for Community via Facebook.  Click on "See Our Progress" to add your items.

Stamp Out Hunger is the food drive organized by the United States Post office.  Place non-perishable food items in, or near your mailbox and they will be collected on May 12.  Items collected will be distributed to local foodbanks.  This is the easiest way to donate.

I personally have been keeping this food drive in mind when shopping.  I'll be donating a huge box of items!  My donations will include Reach Floss, baby formula, diapers, and more.
