I do actually have this mop and LOVE it. I have 3 kiddos (ages 6 to 1) and it is the ONLY thing I've found besides my fingernails that will get all the food off the floor. I love that it just uses water - no chemicals around my crawler. Also the floor dries VERY quickly b'c it's so hot, so you don't have to make the kids wait half an hour when they want a snack NOW, etc! :) I have hardwoods, tile AND pergo in my home and it works great on all 3. It doesn't leave my hardwoods looking shiny, but I am willing to trade shine for a really deep clean. LOVE this mop - and I hate cleaning with a passion, so that's saying alot.

I can't really say about the kitten question. Our oldest son is so allergic to cats and dogs that we have always been pet free for him. A friend got a dog for their 8 year old though and that only lasted about 6 months before they found a new home for it. He was warned before he got the dog so I think it was fair.

We warned her too. She is normally quite responsible and loves animals. We have a plan B. We don't want a cat in the house and our development probably doesn't want a cat in their yard. We will be keeping the cat in the garage with our 16 year old Siberian Husky and they'll go in & out together. The poor ole doggy has lost her sight and hearing and had a bit of trouble walking today, so I fear she will be gone soon.
