What's for Dinner??

We are on the run tonight.  Some will be eating at home and some on the run.  I've planned ahead.

Thursday's Meal:
Egg Salad Sandwiches -made ahead for the kids
Apple Slices
Bottled Water

I haven't decided what hubby and I are having yet.  Our meal plan went astray today because someone ate all the meat I planned on using to make subs for everyone :(

What's on your menu?

We have chicken pot pie on the menu. I bought the philly cooking creme with my free coupon from the kraft first taste account and found the recipe on their site. I hope it's good because the ingredients all sound like it will make a great dinner.

Side question - I don't own a pie pan because I'm not a good baker. Should I buy a cheap throw away one from the grocery store on the way home or can I just make do with my round casserole dish? It's 9in like the recipe states.

Use the round dish. I think it will work.

Sounds delish!

Nicki-
As long as the dish is approximately the same six (9in, 8in, 10in), it will work & won't effect cooking time much. I use whatever is available: square, oval, round, etc. I don't put a bottom crust on potpies & just slice the top pie dough into strips for a free-form lattice. That way it fits whatever shape I'm using.

Crazy baseball night again!
Sloppy joes
oven baked fries
fruit salad
veggies & dip
