Upromise: Get $25, plus New eCoupons

Several times in the last year or so I've read some really great success stories about families earning lots of money for college with Upromise. I have linked family grocery cards, linked debit cards, participated in the H&R Block promotion (earned $15!), bought & registered McDonalds Gift Cards and used eCoupons. We have our kids 529 accounts linked to Upromise and any money we earn is equally distributed among them. But I just haven't seen any big savings add up. Saving for college is a big priority. With our three children born within just about three years, we are going to be hit very hard for a period of time when all three are in college. I'm going over our Upromise account with a fine tooth comb looking for additional ways to save. One thing I have not done is signed up for a Upromise Credit Card. I'm not against credit cards. I just don't want too many. I have several I like and earn nice rewards on them, why would I want another?

Right now there is a tempting offer at Upromise. Sign up for either the Dining Rewards or Gas Rewards credit cards from Upromise and get $25 in your Upromise account after the first qualified purchase is made plus the Dining Rewards card will earn you 1% into your college account from every purchase and 10% from participating grocery and drugstore items and 10% at participating dining restaurants. The Gas Rewards card will earn you 2% at Exxon/Mobile purchases. While there are other cards out there offering higher amounts on any gas purchases, the Dining Rewards card does sound interesting, if not to make a purchase just for the $25!

How are you saving through Upromise? I'd love to hear how you have saved.

Additionally, Upromise has new eCoupons available for the month of May at their website. If you are not currently saving using eCoupons it is worth checking out! Select the coupons, activate them, and for every item you purchase from the list, the coupon amount will get deposited into your Upromise account. This month you'll find over $45 in savings and huge savings on Similac and Huggies Diapers! Many items have insert coupons available!
