FYI, CVS's official coupon policy (last I checked about 2 months ago) does not allow the use of two $ off $ coupons on BOGO items. If you have heard differently, could you please let us know! I'd love to get in on this deal if possible.

I am pretty certain their policy states that you can use one manufacturer's coupon per item, even on B1G1 items meaning you CAN use one one each.
I have always done this and my store is happy to accept them. They are reimbursed fully by the manufacturer.
Your second coupon will beep in this scenario, not because it is not allowed, but because it needs to be adjusted to $.99. CVS does not allow overage.
When in doubt, ask your cashier or better yet a manager.
