I used my What's for Dinner Meal Planner this weekend to plan out my weekly menu before grocery shopping. Of course, I made my menu based on things we already have on hand and only needed to buy milk and one can of sauerkraut as a result! My only shopping this weekend consisted of deals to build my stockpile! (That is seriously much more fun!)
My meal planning resulted in me taking a good look at what was in the freezer!
Monday's Menu:
13 lb Turkey (bought after Thanksgiving for steal)
Stuffing (made with buns from the freezer)
Mashed potatoes
Sugar Snap Peas (free at Giant Eagle this week)
*Possibly our favorite Sweet Potato Muffins if I have time
What's on your menu?? Inspire us!

Grilled chicken sandwiches (indoor grill pan) on high fiber bulkie rolls (rolls purchased at discounted bread store- wonder outlet).
Served with chipotle mayo spread, turkey bacon slices, lettuce and tomato.
Also with homemade artichoke/spinach dip and baked pita bread made into chips. (my son eats this up).
Taco seasoning rubbed pork roast cooked all day in the crockpot-shred and mix with the juices in the crockpot and serve over rice
green beans
salad
cornbread
I'm glad you mentioned your turkey as that reminded me of the one lurking in my freezer! I was thinking of inviting a really big family for Sunday dinner next weekend and wondering about the main dish-this could be my answer!
Pulled pork (pork roast in slow cooker w/BBQ sauce), coleslaw, baked beans, corn muffins & fruit salad
Michelle: this week Meijer has the Corned beef on sale for 1.99/pound (time to stock up!)We prefer the low-salt variety, but the regular is fine too.
