As always, make sure to read everything carefully including the terms before joining. I have researched this site and found nothing alarming. They actually require very little personal information. I joined yesterday and am interested in seeing the launch of this site in the near future!

this is true Anonymous but for what it cost you (nothing, no money, no bank info, and a minute daily) it's worth my effort for the chance to get actual cash this year. yes it's in virtual currency now but for the investment, I'm good with that :)

The issue is 'how' the system decides to 'weight' the value of their 'currency'. Also, once they decide to 'release' the currency to you, they're going to need your info.
that's why you need to be careful when releasing information. But for now, it's a no loss situation. When paypal first came out people were skeptical too. You always need to be diligent and careful no matter what you do on the internet. Personally, I have a wait and see approach. When they go live and convert paybox to actual cash, I'll wait and see how it all unfolds before I give my info. Still no loss on my part, only a potential gain.
Paypal did not use their 'own' currency.
