I'm not much of a gambler, so as I waited for my Giant Eagle to stock the shelves with Purex before the coupon expires, I decided to take my 24 coupons to Kmart.  I was not expecting my Kmart to have well stocked shelves, so I figured I would still do the deal at Giant Eagle as well.  

As it ended up, the $10 reward coupon for purchasing $30 in Purex was rolling.  I did four transactions using the $3 Purex coupons and $10 Kmart rewards.  In the end I paid $28.80 plus tax and ended up with a $10 reward.  I spent that on two bottles of Downy, on sale 2/$10 and paid NOTHING (no tax either!).

I was a little hesitant to actually spend money on laundry detergent, since I really haven't paid money for it in years, but in the end I'm glad I did.  Now I have almost a year's supply.

Kmart Super Doubles: 2/28 - 3/5

Participating Kmarts are having a Super Double Manufacturer's Coupon Event this week through March 5th.  Check your store's participation by clicking "weekly ad" at Kmart.com.  The red box pictured below will be on the last page of the ad.

You must use your Shop Your Way Rewards card to receive the doubles, plus you must spend $25 or more on grocery and drugstore merchandise.  There is a limit of 5 coupons that can be doubled.  It will be difficult, but not impossible to get a deal.

My friend Nicole let me know she is shopping at Kmart tonight in their three day Double Coupon Event!  The event runs through tomorrow, Tuesday, February 15th.  Coupons up to $2 in value (doubled to $4) with a $25 purchase of grocery or drugstore merchandise.

Kmart is advertising a Super Double coupon event this week through February 5th.  They will double your manufacturer's coupons up to $2 ($2 coupon becomes $4 off) when you use your Shop Your Way Rewards card and purchase $25 or more in grocery and drugstore merchandise.

There should be some great deals.  I will keep you informed of any great deals after I shop!

Kmart Double Coupon Event: December 5 - 7

If you are a Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards member, you may have received an email about the double coupon event Kmart is holding at participating stores beginning Sunday, December 5 - Tuesday, December 7.  They will be doubling coupons up to $2 in value.

There are limitations to this event, but it could work to your advantage with the right coupons and sales.  There is minimum purchase of $25 and a maximum of (5) coupons per day.  You can view all the restrictions HERE.

It is being reported that Kmarts nationwide will hold a double coupon event this Sunday, 10/31.  They will double up to $5 coupons up to and including $2 in value (meaning a $2 coupon will double to $4).  You must have a ShopYourWay Rewards Card. 

Make sure to call ahead to be sure your store is participating.

Kmart: Double Coupons Again?!

I just received an email today about the Double Coupon Event going on at Kmart again.  As you can see, it started yesterday and runs through August 21st.

This time it is doubles up to $.99, limit 5.  Check to see if your store is participating HERE.

I personally have not been shopping at Kmart since they have decided to 'switch it up' left and right.  And the limit of 5 really doesn't interest me.  I have grocery stores around me that double up to $.99 and have no limits.
